REDress Project @brandeis

Students of the “Introduction to Creativity, the Arts, and Social Transformation” course, under the guidance of artist Jaime Black, who conceived of The REDress Project and has installed it in venues across North America, will place empty red dresses in discrete areas of campus. The dresses call attention to the thousands of missing and murdered Indigenous women in Canada and the U.S., and ask us to take action in the face of this racialized and gendered violence.
